Ship and enable the AlmaLinux branding set for the openQA web UI:
- Branding templates (templates/webapi/branding/AlmaLinux/): docbox,
sponsorbox, style and a self-contained external_reporting that links
failing jobs to bugs.almalinux.org (preselecting the AlmaLinux-N
MantisBT project by job version; no reporter plugin dependency).
- Logo asset almalinux.svg installed into assets/images/ (served at
/images/almalinux.svg).
- Wire the branding-layout patch into the spec: swap the navbar logo for
the AlmaLinux mark and pull the branding stylesheet into the page head.
- Enable the branding by default via an openqa.ini.d drop-in
(00-almalinux-branding.ini) so a fresh install is branded out of the box.
- style.html.ep: restore symmetric .navbar-brand>img padding so the navbar
logo matches the openqa.almalinux.org rendering (openQA 5's bootstrap
sets padding-top:0, which otherwise enlarges/top-aligns the logo).
Verified openqa %check passing on AlmaLinux 9 x86_64 (PostgreSQL 16):
- Re-require bsdcat (OpenQA::Downloader invokes it to decompress raw
assets); provided by the rebuilt libarchive bsdcat subpackage.
- Cache.pm: give the metrics upsert an explicit ON CONFLICT(name) target
(EL9 SQLite 3.34 rejects target-less DO UPDATE).
- t/24-worker-jobs.t: enable -signatures on the fake worker packages
(EL9 Perl 5.32 warns that sub signatures are experimental).
- bsdcat has no package on EL9 (only /usr/bin/bsdtar is shipped), so it
is dropped from main_requires and worker_requires; bsdtar is kept.
Matches the old 4.6 packaging.
- gitlint, ruff and perl(Code::TidyAll) are not packaged for EL9; drop
them from the style-check (author-test) requirements so the -devel
subpackages remain installable. ShellCheck/Perl::Critic/Pod::Markdown/
Test::Perl::Critic/yamllint are kept (all available on EL9).
- Update openQA 4.6 -> 5 to match Fedora; refresh the Fedora messaging /
update-restart plugins, configs, and pre-generated asset cache for the
new snapshot.
- Re-sync the spec with Fedora v5 (drop the stale older baseline).
- Carry Fedora backports: skip tests_dependencies.t earlier, and support
invent.kde.org / work_items in bug URLs.
- Pairs with os-autoinst 5 (the worker no longer caps os-autoinst < 5).
