Subject: [PATCH] expr: fix bug with unmatched \(...\)

* doc/coreutils.texi (String expressions):

|
Document the correct behavior, which POSIX requires.

||
|
* src/expr.c (docolon): Treat unmatched \(...\) as empty.
|
||

* tests/misc/expr.pl: New test.

||
