To fully update CPU microcode, a reboot is needed because the
|
||
|
|
microcode update should be applied before starting a kernel and other
|
||
|
|
process.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
Therefore recommend a reboot after installing or updating
|
||
|
|
microcode_ctl package.
